The Dubai Mall, United Arab Emirates

Studiofractal have completed an extensive lighting upgrade to The Dubai Mall, leading to brighter, more vibrant public spaces and significantly reduced energy usage. Working across all interior areas and exterior facades, a coherent balance between amenity and accent lighting now presents one of the worlds largest malls in a new light. Utilising existing lighting positions where possible, the lighting approach utilised a range of illumination levels and colour temperatures from a range of LED light sources, resulting in a dramatically improved visual impact with significantly reduced running costs.

Carefully layered lighting treatments highlight key facades and entrances, reestablishing the night-time presence of one of the worlds largest Malls.
