Dating to 1850, St Luke’s was originally built to serve the Brompton Hospital. It was converted by Northacre in 1997 into a series of luxury apartments, however the chapel itself has remained unused since 1991. This 7,330 sq ft, Grade II* listed property has been transformed into one of the most unique residences in London. A comprehensive refurbishment and extension has restored the grand spaces, showcasing meticulous craftsmanship in a classic, timeless aesthetic.
StudioFractal is working closely with the client, architects and the construction team to devise a sophisticated lighting strategy to complement the bespoke joinery and beautifully preserved period details, whilst sensitively upgrading the property to achieve the highest standards of sustainability without impacting on the integral value of the original historic building.
